One of the funniest films of the decade
Friday is a movie that is a different look at life in the hood. Mainly a look at what can go down between Thursday and Saturday with an ensemble of characters that are as funny as you can get with so much marijuana.
It is mainly thanks to the breakthrough performance by Chris Tucker as Smokee; the paranoid, conieving and hilarious friend of Craig (played by Ice Cube) which brings this movie to its great lengths. Along with a great back plot, a great cast and funny scenes, this film deserves a place in the movie history for the 90's.
